    This was on the west side of Broadway, between 75th and 76th Street. I have to admit that I didn’t even see the shoes on these dogs at first; I just though they were so cute that they deserved a picture … As for the shoes: I’m familiar with this sort of thing in NYC during the winter months, because some dogs have fairly sensitive paws that makes it difficult for them to walk on snow or ice. But I can’t imagine that they need it on a warm September mid-day stroll…Note: this photo was published in a May 31, 2009 blog titled “Dog Photo Of The Day: Sneakers.”
